Its nice and sharp, good focus on the eyes, but its too big of a picture and i cant c the whole thing lol

have to agree with lance V nice shot!
But its hard to see what the picture is focused on as the background is to busy, as well asd the very colorful plant. But apart from that i quite like it!

That's a reasonably good shot - it's sharp, well exposed, the only thing is the darkish stem located near the centre of the image, it's too distracting imho. Oh, and yes, I agree with MJ - you need to keep your image sizes below 800 pixels for the widest dimension - the mods will tell you off if you don't ;)

Sorry ladies and gents, he's my bud, I introduced him to this site when he got his Rebel Xti. But for his first shots they are really great considering he got into this about 4-5 months ago.

The lighting and overall exposure looks good. But the critter is dead center in the frame and there are a lot of distracting foreground elements. Try not to center your images, and look far angles that will give you a clean line of sight to the subject.
