Any guess as to how big it'll be? If I'm home on LI I'd definitely go into the city for something like this. Classes end on the 13th for me, so I suppose it depends on fast I decide to pack up my stuff and go home.

Haha, interesting, it starts at my campus and it is the day after I return from Italy. Looks interesting, I might go. You have to sign up or can you just randomly show up?

Better bring some low light lenses! Starting at 3pm doesn't leave much daylight!

Mentions some subway riding, which would be extra low light. Be interesting to watch MTA employees/police try to stop a horde of photographers from taking any pictures in the subways...

You should sign up at the Meetup site if you intend to go. Check out the videos at Thomashawk.com and www.scobleizer.com (external link) for previous TH photowalks.

Yeah, starting at 3PM seems really late, but I'm still planning on going, should be a lot of fun.

Any news on what's going on if it snows?

I'm trying to figure out if I should rush home Friday night so I can go, or if that nor'easter will just obliterate any attempt of a photowalk.

No, the coordination on this seems pretty minimal. My cell is 908 461 7181 if anyone is late or needs other coordination

I will not be making it, unless I magically clean my apartment, drop my roommates off at Logan Airport, and then get back down to NYC/LI. Oh well, maybe next time.

See, I used the tripod at least once!

Did we settle on Photowalk121507 as the tag for the day?
