40D CR2 Raw problems

Hi.

I have a 40D and I can't seem to get anything other than Canon's S/W to touch the raw files. CS2 and Lightroom 1.0 won't touch them. Can't afford to upgrade to CS3, any ideas any hope for me at all?

Never had this issue when upgrading cameras before.

XP Pro SP2.

Time to upgrade LR. There have been 3 upgrades since 1.0 was released, all free. Download and install it, 1.3 is the current version which works great with my 40D RAW files.
