Am using an S300 Elph with a 128 Mb CF. Took around 300 important pictures on vacation, then got the "Corrupted Image" error message on a picture I had already viewed. Deleted that picture, but that blocked all previous images from being viewed either in camera or on computer. Have tried Breeze downloader and Zoombrowser, with CF in camera and in ZiO adapter. No joy. Both the camera and Windows Explorer say there's 63.8 Mb of images still on the CF, but I can't access them. Have taken 30 more pics on the CF and they're fine. Any suggestions?

I would strongly suggest that you get a CF reader for your PC and use it to transfer the images. They run under $30 normally and are muich faster and easier to transfer images from than the camera.

Chances are that if Explorer recognizes the images as being there, you can just drag 'n drop them via the CF reader directly to your PC.

Wunderbar!!! My problem is solved! Murf-- Can't thank you enough. Digital Image Recovery downloaded and installed in nothing flat, and then promptly downloaded about 300 lost pictures! Thanks again and regards to all, Marv.

The freeware version is still available on a German site:
www.happydigis.de/rescue.htm (external link)
(the program itself can be configured for several languages including English).
