The local radio station (96.3FM for the STL guys) is playing Christmas music so here is my question: What do you want for Christmas?

Christmas songs already ?
It's still summer. Or well, I want to believe that.

And I don't want anything for christmas, since I will be travelling to my bf's home and just hoping to have fun in there. :D
Actually I know I will...

A radio station is playing Christmas songs already? I hope it's a joke...

I was on the Queen Mary a couple days ago and at least two of the shops on the ship already had Christmas displays out, selling ornaments and things.

A far as what I want, I never ask for or expect anything. I quit celebrating Christmas many years ago.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Peace on Earth.

Good Will Towards Men.

A Canon 600mm f/4 L lens.

Yep. 1 & 2 are official "suck up to the big guy" requests, in hopes that he can deliver 3. I'm shameless, I know.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Actually, I'm thinking about that often ... a 20D. But I won't get it for Christmas, but rather early in January.

Main reason is that I promised my wife in JANUARY 2004 that I would NOT get a new camera this year after buying the G2 a year before.
I think you can imagine how I feel.

Best regards,
Andy

Fortunately, my wife wants my 10D so ordering the 20D wasn't a hard sell for me.

On the wish list this year are some AB strobes and Photoflex gear. Well, the 400mm DO IS is on there too but I haven't been that good ;)

It is what it is...

Yeah! THAT's what I want for Christmas - I want my wife to want my 10D.

Pleae oh please oh please oh pretty please....

Edit: Scratch that. I was in a camera store today and saw a box labeled "Canon 400mm f/2.8 L IS"

I want that box. There were 4 lenses in it I'd say. And they had 3 boxes of them....

That GL-2 is a sweet MiniDV cam. I tried to convince myself to buy one last year (camera gear won). It'll be interesting to watch the price and see if there'll be a replacement for it this year with all the 3ccd camcorders coming out. So far, the wife thinks that being with me is better than being without me; so I'm not looking to post any "Spouse needed" adds just yet ;).

It is what it is...
