the G9 is a dinky little camera but somewhat vulnerable on its own thrown in a bag or pocket. What wallet, pouch, bag are you using? I like Crumpler but they have all kinds and too confusing. Any other nice options?

I already had one of these that I use to protect my Tom-Tom sat nav, and I tried to get another for the G9. It doesn't seem to be available any more. I've now got a Samsonite Trekking DF10 which is a similar good fit for the G9. Both have shoulder straps (removable), and a belt loop which is how I use them. I see how they would work fine. I have always found LowePro and similar a bit boring tho'. I like attractive design that is also functional. I'm thinking maybe a Crumpler is the way to go. More a sleeve or pouch style than a bag. https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1203740

If you don't mount a LensMate or Canon adapter, the Apex 60 AW is an excellent choice.

I find it just so handy to use. The lens remains protected, I can't tell how many times I grabbed the camera before getting the case and somehow got a thumbprint on the lens.

Looks cool and snug. Reminds me of my old Russian Rangerfinders, the original poor blokes Leica https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1203740
