I'm sure this idea has been tried before, but i do like your take on it. I upped the saturation some to bring out the color even more.

I've seen nearly an identical shot on this forum. Same type of leaves as well as the same selective coloring. Your take on it is great. I would crop in from the left side and up the contrast.Reminds me of a Gatorade commercial.

Are you kidding? I apologize to whoever did this first. I didn't mean to take your idea.

I actually lowered the opacity on the history brush for a softer color, but higher saturation version isn't bad either. ;)
