Well i dont have any "proper" studio facilities but whats that saying about "neccessity being a mother of invention" - EDIT you can see the studio at the bottom of this post

I have done a little PhotoShop with contrast and hues / saturation and here are a couple of results

I would appreciate any C&C as that is the only way i will improove :D

EDIT - this is the set up

Well 4 marble dinner mats, one cork one and my wifes jumper - to cut down reflections, natural light from the window and a trusty tripod when you arrange them look a bit like this (kids in the back ground - optional extras ! )

Thanks for looking

Great little home studio! I have been meaning to do some more macro stuff! I have access to the full studio at my University, very exciting stuff!!

That's awesome, what are using? Tile? How much does a few pieces of tile run?

I wish you posted the setup shot last, so you would see the nice pics then see the studio, love how the kids are there too playing...fun for the whole family in the dining room! :)

Bit of a pain when the whole "studio" wobbles though!

Using a 300D with an 18-55 lense

not sure on the tile - my wife bought them last year - i think they were about £25 for the 4 - and i have used them many times as a studio, and they even double up for table mats :D :D :D

It took a little while to adjust the exposure setting as the camera goes " whoa no light - dark scene " and then goes and over exposes the subject something chronic

Any how thanks for all your comments

Andy

So funny to see the kids in the background in their own little world, I never would have guessed you did this at the dining table whilst the kids played right there. lol
