Is the classic 1D still weather sealed?

I am led to beleive only the 70-200 f2.8IS L is sealed, You may want to check as a mate has the f4 IS L and its 100% not sealed. Also remember you need a UV filter on it to completely seal it off.

It's very easy to tell. First I read many reviews which confirmed that the f4 IS is sealed before I bought the lens. And then I checked the rubber sealing around the mount. I'm sure both IS versions are protected. Thanks though.

Not all L's are sealed, Check the mount if it has rubber its sealed if not its not sealed. You may be right about them being sealed i just remeber his wasnt (But it was an older one)
