leave it to tiff to turn something manly into something cute!

alcohol is poison. Its fun as hell though. Dont drink until you are allowed to legally. You have to make the decision if its worth the hassle. And dont EVER do drugs (cocaine, heroine, ecstasy you know). Theres no way anyone can justify that crap.

LOL, and I agree. I tried the pot once and it was a bad deal. I got really paranoid. I'll never do that again!

Finally, Aidan is sleeping. Only took 2 hours or so. Poor little guy-all this holiday crap is messing with his system. Everyone plans parties for his naptime so he either gets a very short early nap or none at all. GRRR!!!!

Ok, here they are.

PART of my collection. I own 2 Swiss Army knives (shown, one is engraved as a gift to me, and I have a really nice brown leather sheath for it)), a 9 Inch SOG Seal Pup (no-name brand kind) with homemade sheath made by me, 2 Jaguar throwing knives with sheath, Camillus 1977 pocket knife (the one that cut me), multi-tool made by Buck Knives (top), no-name brand multi-tool, Blue Tang blunt-tip dive knife (not shown), 3 exacto razor blades (not shown) and maybe one or two that I can't remember ;) I normally carry the throwers on my belt and the red Swiss Army on a carribeaner (*sp*) with my house keys. Any questions? :D

Is the reason you are home-schooled because you got kicked out of public school for carrying knives?

Actually no, this hobby developed after. My Mom pulled me and my brother out of school (I was in first grade, he was in third) because the teachers and kids were crap, and this was a private school. One of my bro's teachers scolded him for reading ahead in his free time, and my teacher told me I couldn't learn cursive writing until she was ready to teach it (even though I learned it anyway). Then the kids were terrible, since one of the kids had a parent that was a teacher so anything he said they believed which meant that he was able to get away with throwing sand in another girls face and then blaming it on me while my Mom stood there watching. That's how we got into homeschooling, and now I collect knives

I sliced my leg open with the metal studds on my bike pedal once, and I think that went down to the bone

I have a scar near my knee from when I sliced my leg open on the chain guard of my bicycle when I was a little kid. That was almost 40 years ago.

I also have a pocket knife that's so sharp you could get cut bad enough to need stitches just from looking at it...

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

The problem is that I have four siblings, all of whom have husband/wives, and children of their own. So they usually come in the morning and stay for about half the day, then I am left with my parents alone, it is very boring. Plus I was hoping that this year I wouldn't be alone (romantically), but I am so...... yes I will be bored on Christmas.

Well, that's better than having to watch your sister-in-law get complimented for her amazing use of clip-art to design address labels or her wonderful ability to decorate cakes with a piece of card stock (enhanced with clipart) covered in contact paper. Or, her lovely clip-art designs printed onto t-shirt transfers and destroying t-shirts with crappy designs that crack after 3 washed. She even puts the kid's name on the design so you know who the kid wearing it is. And, always theri first and middle name. She's even put a picture of the kid on the kid's own t-shirt. My MIL pisses me off so much. I design a cool x-mas card from scratch and get nothing while my SIL gets RAVE reviews for the crap she puts out.

I hate that! In my family nobody cares about my photography unless I will take pictures of their bratty kids, but if you sing or play a musical instrument) niether of which I do), then you are perfect and amazing. If you don't you are basically scum.

Hmmm, we're normally at my aunts house during the afternoon through supper but I don't expect to get stuff that will keep me busy the entire time we're there, so how 'bout we make a POTN date, sometime in the afternoon/evening we get on here and talk about what we got, whether we like it or not and so on :)

That's KIND of how my family is, but not so much. My Dad was into photography when he was in highschool so he understands most of my stuff but as far as my Mom is concerned, my brother's dancing is the most important thing in the world.

That's what happens, every family has a favorite, and if you're not it then you will be ignored fairly often.

Sure, why not, if I am not making cheesecake, I am sure that I will be here at some point. :D

My immediate family is actually very supportive (parents, brothers, and sisters, etc.) But it is my extended family that is so hard to deal with.

Just don't overcook it ;)

That's good that they're supportive, it's always nice to know that you've got somebody backing you up in your choices
