Hope everyone is well! Were in for the night, might take Cordell out sledding later.
Whats the plans for the evening? On the eve of the DAY.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR LAYOVERS BEFORE YOU BUY TICKETS ONLINE!

Yes, I didn't realize I had a 2 1/2 hour layover in Chicago... Almost home though...

We are definitely having a white Christmas, the sky has dropped about 2-3in in the last hour or so, I think we are supposed to have about 8in total.

Darn. We're definitely NOT having a white Christmas, since the temp yesterday was around 55-60° F, but it did rain.

Not much here. Going to the 9 P.M. service at our church (originally we were planning on the 11P.M. service but Mom changed her mind), then I guess we come back and sit around waiting for bed time. You can probably guess what comes after that.

Thanks Tiff, looks good, I would like to try the oreo one as well.

1 20oz pkg Oreo cookies
1/4 stick melted butter
5 8ox pkg cream cheese, softened
1 C sugar
1tsp vanilla
1 C sr cream
4 eggs

Preheat oven to 325
line 13x9 backing pan with foil so that the foil sticks up over the side and ends of the pan.
Chop 30 cookies in food processor until finely ground (alternatively you can just buy a box of oreo cookie crumbs)
add melted butter and mix well.
press into bottom of pan

beat chream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until well blended.
Add sr cream and mix well
add eggs 1 at a time beating until blended before adding another

chop remaining 15 cookies and add 1 1/2 C to the batter (you can also use mini oreos instead)
pour batter over crust
top with remaining cookie crumbs
bake 45 minutes or until center is almost set
cool
refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

Enjoy

I'm back but I'll probably be off to bed shortly. My bro's gf is jewish and she seemed kind of bored with our curch service. I think I'm going to go hit the fudge container now :) I'll see everybody tomorrow afternoon/evening. Merry Christmas

Sorry about that. But, there are those of us who are home doing nothing as well. I spent an hour cleaning out my son's toys to make room for all the crap he's likely to get tomorrow and when we go see my mom this weekend.

Go to a movie.

I just got back from Christmas light looking... Some cool ones out again this year but about a handful of the REALLY good ones didnt put anything up sadly because of vandalism over the past couple years.

Damn criminals.

Good to hear there are at least some. There is a house in my area that has so many lights and crazy contraptions in the front that it's insane. I'll have to take a picture.

And, I'm off to bed so goodnight.
