Well since my post an hour or so ago, I have been on the phone with comcast trying to get this HD box to work. It was a pre loved box and it definitely doesnt love me. Heading back out to switch it with another one.

UGH!

I had the same issue. It took them forever to get everything hooked up right.

Yeah it wasnt so much hooking it up as it was getting it activated by them. the first box was fried.

But I am a cable fanatic and have OCD issues... They all get zip tied. It still kinda looks messy to me, but they arent all tangled... So I can live with that lol.

I'll post a pic of the giddy up soon :)

I am that way too, try IKEA, they have these gray tube things that you can cut to size, they make things look much better. (still kind of messy, but not nearly as bad)

Have you looked at the Camdapter Kitten?

Here is their site.....

http://camdapter.com/ (external link)

I chose one because I do not want a grip, and it works with my tripod.

Yeah I looked at them but I would kind of like the security of actually having it somewhat attached so I don't have to grip it the whole time. Most handstraps have holes on the bottom to put it on a tripod or mono-pod

I just zip tie them up.... :) Leave a little slack and the rest get rolled.

I really like it... and I hate it=)

it is, not scientifically just me eyeing the 200% and 100% on screen, pretty darn sharp at 1.6.... 1.4 is not perfect but pretty good. Really close to what my 50 1.4 looks like (which is pretty sharp at 1.4)
it feel solid and the focus ring is great compared to my 50.
the thing I hate is it is to big for me, I'm so used to the size and wieght of the 50 1.4. I want to take some landscape pics, but I don't have time during the day to catch any light right now...:(

anywho, the focal length is a great compliment to my 50... really all i need, just wish it was an inch shorter.
