Well, my hubby did it just because he weighed less than a hundred pounds when he graduated so there were really no other sports he could do. I just don't like how they push people to make weight. I hated watching kids spit in water bottles or wear tons of clothes so that they would sweat off the weight. Plus, all the dieting. Hubby's cousin actually got himself so dehydrated trying to make weight that he didn't pee for 2 days. That's the stuff that worries me the most.

I've seen a lot of that. My natural weight was 113 as a senior. I wrestled 112. Making weight was never an issue for me. I had a great time. Just be careful that he doesn't get talked into cutting weight. I don't think I would ever want to do that.

Hubby and I have already discussed that and he has been told that if Aidan is pressured into cutting weight or trying to make weight, he'll be done wrestling. He will be able to maintain his weight in a healthy manner but if he is supposed to wrestle at 119 and weighs 121 he can't cut weight to get down. He'll have to wrestle at 125. Any pressure to spit in bottles all day or any of that other crap-he's done. I'm not having him stunt his growth or f-up his body just to wrestle. I'm hoping he'll be good at basketball instead. :)

As long as he understands his limits. He will be good.

Hi pete. I'm happy. I'm heading out the door and going home. I got some sweet corn on sale yesterday and I'm excited for that. I'm not sure what else I'm making but I love watching Aidan chow down on that stuff. He's a monster with the corn and it makes me LMAO!

Howdy howdy everyone. I was just updating my blog. Was doing some revamping and created a new look and the database was giving me issues so I had to restore it and lost some posts. I just went ahead and started all over again lol. It's all good now. I am going to do daily backups. I am really not worried about losing the posts.... I still have the images, but I am happier now because I am able to post larger images with how I set this one up. :)
