Well, my hubby did it just because he weighed less than a hundred pounds when he graduated so there were really no other sports he could do. I just don't like how they push people to make weight. I hated watching kids spit in water bottles or wear tons of clothes so that they would sweat off the weight. Plus, all the dieting. Hubby's cousin actually got himself so dehydrated trying to make weight that he didn't pee for 2 days. That's the stuff that worries me the most.
I've seen a lot of that. My natural weight was 113 as a senior. I wrestled 112. Making weight was never an issue for me. I had a great time. Just be careful that he doesn't get talked into cutting weight. I don't think I would ever want to do that.
