There it is.... boy this bogged down. Sorry guys, it was because of me.

I rebooted my computer. My whole internet went down and I got the POTN servers are full.

It was just POTN that was bogged for me. So I just went and cruised other sites, refreshing frequently. And of course it was happening as I was posting my 5k post lmao. I was sure Jake (CDS) was messing with me.

Same here. Busy browsing for a car I want. Used with auto transmition it's priced between $15K and $20k. The higher price is caused by the addition of 3 letters to the name and a hood scoop. I want the Subaru Impreza WRX, but I guess I could settle for the 2.5i. THIS (external link) is what I am looking for, but with a hood scoop (I want to add an aluminum spoiler or wing but I don't think that will happen). HERE (external link) it is with the hood scoop and the extra letters (I think).

Well, it's your choice. I guess there isn't much to regret if it turns out to be less than you expected.

I have actually been thinking about it for a couple of months (yes it takes me this long to make a decision). That is why I hate decisions that involve money. (It took me like 4 months to decide if I should get the 100 2.8 macro and 430 EX)

I don’t think that it will be less than I expected, I have played with enough of them, and talked to enough people that have them, I think I am safe from that.

I usually try to wait for the novelty to wear off on purchases this big before I buy it, if I still want it after thinking about it 2.5 months I am pretty sure I will want it for a long time.

I was beginning to wonder for a moment lol. Had to have Marc tell me it was slow for him too. Then I knew I was safe.

It's just like lenses... you pay loads more if it says IS L (or even just L) :D But its worth it.

Those are nice cars Kitten, I have always liked WRXs. But please, please, please, don't mess it up with a ricey aluminum spoiler.

Well, at least it shows that you don't throw your money away the minute you find something you want. Too many people now-a-days buy expensive things without taking the time to reseach to see if it is what they really want.

Just make sure you don't worry about waiting too long. My buddy got some kind of phone for about $300 and a week later the price on it was dropped to around $150.

Yeah, but there are also some technical differences between them too.

I know they are, that's why I want one. When my family had our van and other car in for repairs my Mom rented one of these and let me drive it around the development, so I know for sure that I like the way it handles and drives. I just need to get some of my buddies to come with me when I check one out at a dealers, just to make sure the backseat has enough room, even though I won't legally be able to drive anybody but family around for the next 5 months or so.

I only KIND of want the spoiler, but like I said it probably won't happen. I'll be happy to just have the car itself (and I don't want to be known as a ricer). Unfortunately I'll have to wait and wait and wait because we can't afford another car right now even though we've got 4 drivers and only 2 cars. My grandfather promised to give me his Ford Explorer, but that is also still quite a bit in the future.

I bet he/she can't wait.....then again, what interest does a 7yo have in driving anything but toy cars around?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that it won't be MY car unless I pay for everything (gas, insurence, tags, title, THE ACTUAL cost of the car, etc.). It will be a family car that I use ONLY if nobody else needs it. BTW, my brother was given exlusive rights to drive our second car when he got his lisence (even though they never actually said that and nobody will admit it). The only time I get to use one of our vehicles is if NEITHER my Mom nor bro need to be someplace (and only occasionally when one of them has something to do but the other doesn't)

Hey, a 1936 Pierce Arrow is 72 years old but is a very expensive antique, and for good reason. It's displays classic craftsmanship and has looks that are not seen in vehicles now-a-days

Yes, but I do not think a Ford Probe is in that catagory. :)

Oh heck no, but I'm just saying that just because something is old doesn't mean it's not worth something. A car even nicer than the Pierce Arrow is the Duesenberg (also a prime piece of classic design)
