Because when you get snow, we do to, at least 95% of the time, although its 40s and 50s coming up in our forecast.... yeehaw! I think we are supposed to get snow today and tomorrow, and then it is supposed to be 40ish this weekend. I hope! Sorry, I am having it for lunch again today. {Brooke}

[/SARCASM OFF] I may live in a snow covered climate, but am a hermit in the winter. I walk from my house to garage, or work to my car in the winter and thats it. If it wasn't a law that I had to keep my sidewalks shoveled I would not shovel. As a kid, sure I went out and played but I was also 13.

If I could afford to move to a warmer climate and leave a large family and aging parents behind I would, but for now I will just complain every chance I get. I'm too much of the outdoor type to be cooped up indoors, even if it is cold outside. I may be dumb, but I'm not scared . . .

I just got a phone call from Justin Jimenez with 9 news here in Denver. I sent him an email with some work I have done and whatnot, and they are looking for some photographers to help them complete a project in order to get their name listed on www.metromix.com 5D4 | 50 1.4 | 85L II | 24-70L II | 70-200 2.8L IS II

Guess if your a skier or into snowmobiles or a nature freak type. I enjoy listening to the stories at work of those who venture out into the abyss, just not my bag.

It isnt much but with the experience I could gain by doing this and the resume glitter that will come from this, I think it is definitely worth doing. I'll be meeting with him tomorrow or Friday to sign an agreement. I'm going to see if there's any way I can get into some pro sporting events, ie: colorado avalanche or the denver nuggets to shoot some sports shots. Even college stuff would be fun! Mainly it's just stuff around the downtown area, bars, clubs, restaurants, shops etc. I'm just excited that my work was liked enough to be contacted by such a well known corporation. ![]() Congrats to you. Sounds like a great opportunity!
