A freaking Corvette?!?! You suck ;)

Yes, those were the days. Here was my daily driver I bought new (I was 22 in 1989). My dad had a real studio too!

See mine is actually a pratical car that will be good when I have kids. (4dr 2007 Honda Civic) Which is part of why I bought it, better to prepare with a nice car now that to have to try and buy one when the kiddos are here.

That sounds about right. By time you get married and have kids and such you'll have a ten year old car with 150,000 ticks. :)

Ha ha I really hope not, I would be happy to be married and have kids within the next 2-3 years, or sooner. ( I know, I know, I'm young and shouldn't feel that way, but I do)

Yeah, I drove a new Camaro. No need to break into the mullet jokes. I was in the Marine Corps and paid for it on my own. I'm pretty certain the Corps would not allow me to have a mullet . . . I didn't even bother to ask.

I may be dumb, but I'm not scared . . .

Time to change the sig to easter colors. :)

But does it have a good amount of space in back and a fairly large trunk? When you have kids you're going to end up wanting a bigger car or a van (to carry all their stuff and to protect them). I've seen what happens when an older F350 with king cab and snowplow attachment slams into the back of a stopped Acura 4dr. The trunk just about became flush against the back seat and the rear window shattered, showering bits of glass all the way to the front windshield. Luckily the kid in the backseat wasn't seriously hurt but they all suffered whiplash. I've never been a fan of tiny cars (even though I want a Subaru) but I also don't like big cars like my family's Licoln Towncar. Biggest thing I can say is check the safetly ratings and try to get a mid-large sized car.

But it's not even halfway through the week yet, change the colors at the end of the week.

The safety ratings are actually very good on these new civics, they have 8 airbags, and many other very good features. I used to sell carseats (baby ones) and so I know a lot and I mean a lot about child passenger safety, there is only one or two carseat brands that I would ever put my children in, and some that I would never even think about. (Costco, some evenflo, etc) I actually created a training book for my old work to train the new people on child passenger safety. My coworkers and family have learned never to get me started talking about child seats, or they are stuck for about an hour (or more :)

But St. Parick's Day is over, so it is time for a change, and Easter is on Sunday.

Ok we'll allow you to sport springy colors... Even though it's cold gray and miserable here.

From a few pics I just checked out on google the nose looks rather small so I think I'll just stick to a Subaru ;) I think they came out with a new 08 model but I don't know if I like it as much as the 05-06 versions (if the ratings are better, though, I'll definitely look into getting one). I really would like it if I could get one with a sunroof :D (especially since spring is basically here just about)

I know but at least hold off until the upcoming holiday is less than half a week away before you change the colors

Yup, that's exactly why. Old stuff isn't as cool as new stuff (MOST OF THE TIME!)

Civics have a great reputation for family cars. They've come a long way from my grandma's 1974 honda civic that looked like a ping-pong ball on wheels. It was smaller than a metro! I still would like to have a bigger car for the simple reason that it sucks to get a stoller into the trunk of my car. And, it's kind of tricky to get Aidan in his car seat and has been since I had him. The angle has just never been right. Oh, well. Thanks to my job, I'll be lucky enough to struggle on with the grand am. :(

Grand Am's are nice enough. Maybe you should sell the hubby's truck to pay for a van ;)

NO MINI VAN!!!!!

The truck is nice. It's a crew cab so it's perfect for us and it's nice to have something to haul stuff in. I'm really wanting a Honda CRV but that's out of range at the moment. I love my friend's.

I have put quite a few carseats in and out of my car and it works well. And the trunk luckily has a pretty big opening, so strollers are not much of a problem (unless it is a double stroller, those things are huge!).

Yeah, my problem is that a double stroller is soon to be in my future.
