Chet showed up to keep the place interesting More info | Mar 18, 2008 16:00 | #8872 I worked at a Chevy dealer way back when I was young and naive like you kids, the dealer would charge employees $50 over dealer invoice which was okay. Actual GM employees (the factory workers and execs.)got another 15% off of that, never understood why the people working to sell your vehicles were not considered GM employees.

The 24-70 is getting there tomorrow around 11 so I should have it in my hands by 1, and the 70-200 is getting shipped in by the end of the week. Total cost will be about $2400 (my parent's are paying for half because it is a "big ticket item"), but I'm probably also going to get a $50 Bogen mono-pod and probably a UV filter for each lens but for some reason the filter I saw was marked at $109 (I think it was a Hoya) and there weren't any other 77mm UV's. If I don't get one tomorrow I will definitely go to Best Buy and get a card reader. Chris

Good for you, can't wait to see the images you'll be able to pull off with those awesome acquisitions. (4minute response time, not bad for an old person.)

There's some killer stuff posted in the people section from time to time. Tiffany
