Well, you're already spending $2400 why not tack on $25 and get the wireless remote and try some selfies. There's some killer stuff posted in the people section from time to time.

I could but i didn't see any, there might have been one wired remote but I didn't take a good look at it. I already did some selfies and posted one in the selfie thread but I still like to be BEHIND the camera more.

Wow Tiff, you must be slipping. Either that or you just didn't bother reading my post closely....specifically the last line

I think I paid $35 from my local Art's camera, it's nice to have though.

Yup, specially for nighttime shots but I don't do those. I only did one nighttime shoot for part of the photography project

I have both wired and wireless. I love them both. Wired is good especially when you are experimenting with the bulb setting. If I remember reading the manual correctly, I don't think you can do bulb with the wireless. Still, there's a LOT more use for them than you might think.

Don't be too sure. He has access to the family credit card and family vehicle. He's threatened to pop in on me in the past. A lot less now that I'm pregnant and not teasing him about the black leather stilletos or the fact that I'm going to go and take a bath in about 10 minutes. :)

Whatever. I'll look and see what they have when I go back tomorrow. I could also get a 430EZ strobe for $100 but I don't really need it just yet.

Or is she  . If I get on my bike, in 20 minutes I could make it a 1,993 mile buffer (if I figured out which way to go ;) )

Oooooh no you di'int....I coulda know you didn't just bring up those damn boots again

but she does have a point, I can get the keys and my Dad's speedpass for gas. With the help of my dive compass I should be able to get to Utah in about 12 hours (that's just a guess because I'm too lazy to mapquest it)

I use my wired for team photo's and eclipse shots. Sad that my 20d does not work with either of the XTi remotes. Wireless I use mostly for family self portraits.

Go west! Duh. And, an external flash is a really nice thing to have as well.

I think dad could safely shut the cards of in the 31 hours it would take you to make the pilgrimage.

Oh, not to change the subject, but my favorite part about my new bee is that it makes my camera much lighter and more comfortable to hold. It's SO nice not having to feel that flash pulling you over. :)

And, I think it's time for me to bathe and go to bed. I'm busting out the sugar-oil scrub because my skin is itching like I've been rolling in poison ivy. GRRRR!!!!

I would love to get some eclipse shots but I don't think they happen often enough for me to get lucky and catch one.

Yeah I know that but do I have to go due west, west-southwest, west-northwest, west by west a quarter southwest, west by west a quarter northwest or north by west a quater west?
