I got to play with one last weekend. It's a little heavier than I'm used to but I'll definitely be upgrading in the future. My mom is working on a business venture where she thinks she'll make $5,000,000 and she said she'd buy me TWO of them. Here's to dreaming!

Yes sometime next year, I'm all over the 40D, dang it felt nice...

That's why we get along. Both leos!

As for the 40d. I think my hubby would kill be since I JUST got my xti for mother's day. But, if my business pans out nicely over the coming months, I will be upgrading AND hopefully getting an L. Of course, that will be AFTER the AB800s join my household. (PLEASE santa!)

Mothers Day as 7 months ago. Haha... Man I am happy I have a nice and understanding and supportive and loving wife.

Hubby really won't be able to say much, if Photos pay for the new gear.

My wife more or less lets my buy anything I want, if we have the extra cash, lucky in that way.

Not going to get into any lighting until, we move next year, I want a little studio/office area. Perhaps in an old barn, if I get lucky in the new home search.

Well, I've had a birthday and anniversary since then that I got nothing for. My hubby likes to do big presents and be off the hook for a while. But, he also doesn't think I spend money wisely so I try and not do stupid stuff like getting a $1,000+ camera for no reason when I haven't outgrown the one I have now.

XTi has excellent IQ, so why waste my money right now.

If I had been single, yup I would have had it the day it was out.

funny story. He was teasing me one day about how I spent too much on photography. I teased him back about how much he spent on beer. And my best friend was there to tell him that at least I can make money from my hobby.

Bummer. I only partake every once in a while. I haven't been trashed since I found out I was pregnant with Aidan. I don't miss it.
