How are you getting a 30 sec exposure with that much light? I recently bought an ND filter & still can't do a 30 with that much light :(

Hey Ace - so this is using a big stopper which is around 10x - an equivalent screw-in would be a B+W 110, there's others but these are the ones I have used that have easier colour cast correction.

Also added for this capture was a GND 0.9 hard edge so another 3 stops. I was also lucky to have overcast weather so all together allowed for 50sec exposure... some other images on the day were upwards of 2 mins.. so you need to grab a 10x stopper or welding goggle glass to try out ... cheers :D

I have not gotten any e-mail notifications of any new posts to any of the threads that I subscriber to for the last 10 days. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have any ideea of why this would be?

One of my first attempts at long exposure. There were other shots, but I thought this one the best...Frenchman's Reef Resort in St Thomas VI. Charollet Amalie in the background. 125 sec exposure @ f/22 ISO 400......Any advice? Thanks.
