Taken quite a while back, nearly froze my fingers off getting this shot. 30 seconds and then I hightailed it out of there!

Nice shot Scot, looks nothing like all the jokes about Detriot :) Is that a shooting star?

This was shot in Ireland during a recent trip to see my family. The snow had just fallen and this was taken around 3:30am. The only light was the moon. 30 second exposure.

Very cool Disjecta, did you have to climb up on the roof or is that on a balcony of some sort?

I just set the tripod up in the bedroom where I was staying. This is the view from the window on the second floor of the house.

That shot was the best part of my (work) trip there! I won't go back unless I have to. Long story short, someone attempted to mug me right after I took that and I almost had to use my tripod mounted camera as a weapon. Luckily everything turned out OK. Taught me a lesson about going to unfamiliar places after dark to shot.

That is an airplane, I think?

concealed weapon permit and a friend.
good shot, I'd crop out some of the water though.
