No kidding! That's pretty nuts and at least you got away unharmed. It's sad when you can't just mind your own and take a picture without someone wanting trouble. Luckily no body messes with me. I'm a big brown guy with gauged ears haha. It has it's advantages :) I guess that's also why we don't see any urban shots from Oakland or Compton haha

I drove up there from Atlanta and thought about bringing my Glock, but I was concerned about the laws in the different states that I was traveling through. Next time, I will not go without it.

I always felt it was better to be caught with it than without it.

Michigan, and every state between GA and MI honors your license to carry (http://apps.carryconcealed.net …eorgia-ccw-state-laws.php (external link)) depending on the route you take. So you would have been good to carry all the way there and back.

Here's one of my latest, from my Project 365 for this year. The Queen Mary in Long Beach - 36mm, f/11, 30 sec, ISO 100.

Can I take your picture? "I'll swallow your soul!" Well, my camera will at least.

Try being nicer to people. Taking a shower every once in a while might help too.

Or if you meant a carry permit, it depends on where you live in MD. Some places are easier than others. You can also apply for out of state permits in other states. The whole thing of which states honor which other states permits is a big mess but can be figured out if you spend the time.

I'm sorry, but if I'm going to be in the situation where I might need a weapon then I'll worry about the consequences later, afterwards...

At least I'd still be alive.
