I was shooting snakes in my back yard a couple of minutes ago and noticed a large piece of dust on the LCD. I went to wipe it off and realized the dust is underneath the glass cover! :( What can I do...I would much much rather have it out.

The LCD is removable, but there is a gasket/seal that you'll need be careful with. I'm sure a web search will return a list of useful instructions.

I don't think he'd see sensor dust on the LCD review. :)

no, but the review of the picture reveals that there is dust on the picture therefore there is dust on the sensor when the picture is taken

No, sensor dust is far, far, far too small to see on the LCD review on the back of the camera. Why can't we just take his word that he has dust under his LCD cover. :)

Hey, I've been an electronics technician for 32 years (20 year in the US Navy and 12 years in private industry), and I've seen dust in lots of unlikely places. If the seal is broken on his LCD screen (which can happen as it is user removable), there can be dust under there.

The LCD is under a plastic screen which fits into the a recess in the back of the camera over the screen. It's quite common for people to scratch this screen and then order a replacement from Canon and exchange it themselves. It's a fairly easy process with the only caveat that you have to take care with the plastic gasket underneath.

Have you ever shot snakes?
That’s a tough job, ya know, all kind of things happening there! ;)

I am kidding, sorry!
I don’t know how he got dust there but I have heard before about dust underneath the plastic protective screen for LCD..
