I've posted a color version of this before, but I recently went back and did a quick black-and-white conversion and really loved the result.

"Flowing Earth", Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness Area:

Wow! The color versions of this are always overpowered by the bright color of the rocks. This version really brings out the lines and flow of the rocks. I like it very much!

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I feel like the pop of the color was almost distracting from the true surreal sense you get looking at this image...

I have not seen your colour versions but have seen shots of this and always envied the photographer. To shoot this on texture when the colours are so obvious and strong is courageous but works very well indeed. I hope you are very pleased with this.

I saw a documentary on this place the other night and how the wind scours out the smooth contours. I'd love to see it some day for real.

Hey, that's really very good. The B&W allows the eye to appreciate the patterns. Well converted too!

Nice... great shot!
