Well I went and ordered two of the 16x16 softboxes with universal speedrings. They came in today. I am working on writting a story up on these fron Strobist if they want it. I figured the 16x16 would be right for the Vivitar 285's and I was right.

The softbox is of better quality than I expected matter of fact it is as well or better constructed than my large Speedotron softbox. I also ordered two more of their Hotshoe to Lightstad adapters. It is the new improved it has a plastic shield to keep the flash from shorting out.

I paid .99 for the bid and a little over $13 each for shipping or at least that for the first one. I got 2 of them, and 2 of the umbrella adapters for a hot shoe flash for under $50.
