I just bought a used 30D and I'm wondering if there is any reason for or against registering it with Canon?

More info | Dec 12, 2007 09:08 | #3 If the previous owner never registered the camera - the registration system will most likely accept the serial number. I recently purchased a lightly used 20D locally and the original owner had never registered it with Canon and so I did. Worked fine, no big deal.
