I have producer and love it. Never had gold so don't know all the differences but when I first bought it I did look at the differences and producer had some capabilities that i liked that gold did not. Do a side by side compare on their site and decide for yourself if the extras are worth it.

What is the price they are offering to upgrade? If it's under $50 then upgrade.

I have Pro Show Gold 3.2 now and they're offering $50 off to upgrade to Producer which makes it $149.00 instead of $199.00. hmmmmmm, decisions ... decisions ...

I personally have no need for producer - gold has layers now, that's the only thing I wanted.
