Watt-seconds vs Guide Numbers

I'm looking at Alien Bees lights and all they give you is watt-seconds. What about Guide Numbers? They do not list these.

Are the B400 lights good enough for 1-5 people in a studio setting???

The guide number depends on the reflector or other modifiers attached to the strobe.

If you click on the product specs on the Alienbees website and scroll down, they list the guide numbers of the strobes with standard reflectors (in feet) as well as meter readings at a measured distance with some typical modifiers.

I think a couple B400 units will work fine for individual and small group studio shots.
