When a young man lands 50 yards from the scene on his first tandem jump "and last" as he later confirmed.

A young skydiver stalled his canopy at about 150f eet whilst trying to turn in to land instead of landing outside the pit (common unfortunately these days)

Serious neck, thoracic, and head injuries and he is still in hospital after 3 months.

The problem (sorry I am an instructor with 4607 jumps) is that now young wealthy jumpers don't spend enough time pre training and simply use the sport for some sort of CV for their next job and fail the test of taking the sport seriously.

This lad may never walk again or take up his position of a market analyst in a large finance house.

Sad and a bloody waste.
