Not posted any photos here in ages, working through a huge backlog, but here's a shot from the weekend.

Yes we did get wet. :p

For me, and this is just my NON-Professional, heck not even good amateur prospective.

Nicely done :), only thing I would have done different is dropped it just a bit. The sky kinda overwhelms the view. Because of the width a crop would make it almost panoramic-ish (Is that a word :) ) But overall its cool.

Cheers chaps.

PP was actually fairly minimal, just a few tweaks of the colour to bolden it up slightly; the greens and blues were there already. I did use an ND8 grad filter though.

Couldn't drop the viewpoint too much as you're looking at the end of the vineyards and you'd have got a lot of non-pretty scraggy grass.

And pano-wise I know what you mean, but tbh I only do panos now when I use the pano head etc and do it properly, and that's in a crate somewhere on the Pacific Ocean with the removal people.

Where you visiting when you come over jbuk?

Thanks for the comments guys, appreciated, keep em coming. :)

Cheers, Dave.

Really nice Dave. I remember looking up the valley from Wellington towards the Hutt at the dramatic sky and thinking "we are going to have rain", and we did.

Very nice photograph. Still looking forward to meeting you both - hearing only great, positive comments.

Cheers TM! The significant others seem to be getting on well from what I hear too, such a small world!
