Macho male Spoonbill with a bad attitude

These three Spoonbills (2 Royals and a Golden) were quite happy until the breeding male Royal decided he wanted the cooler lower perch occupied by the female Royal so he flew off attacked he from behind and occupied her spot, she then returned and retook up her spot subservient to the bloke.

Same happens in real life all to often.
