I have been inspired by many of the wonderful techniques demonstrated in this section of the forum ... You guys are GOOD!! While using AEB to superimpose multiple images, I have been experiencing vibration that blurs my pictures (esp at long focal lengths). My tripod is pretty stable, so I suspect it is from the mirror flipping.

I shoot a XT. Does this model have a mirror lock-up function, or is that feature only on other models? I would look in the manual, but I can't find the manual. Any help would be appreciated!! If the XT has mirror lock-up, how do I lock the mirror and then snap the picture?

I have an xti and it has mirror lock up, so im pretty sure yours does too. go to menu then go all the way to the right. go down to custom functions (C.Fn) then go right to the number 07 and then enable it.

5DmkII, Elan7ne, 430ex, 100 f2.8 macro, and 24-105L, and nifty fifty. 16-35 or 70-200 not sure yet...

Yeah, that's how it's done in the XT also. Only thing is you have to be using one of the advanced modes like Manual or Aperture Priority (*AV*), it will be about halfway down the "Settings 2" section of the menu.

Another thing that might help get less vibration is to use a remote shutter release cause even with lock-up on you still have to press the shutter button to start the exposure. (if you have a manual, that should walk you through setting the mirror lock-up)
