Someone sent me this "one in a million" photo by email. Looks too good to be true to me. Do you think it is a fake?

Looks a pretty likely scenario to happen to me. Dunno whether this one's a fake though.

Would it matter?

I'd hazard a guess that the odds are quite high that it's been "adjusted".

Does it matter? Depends on your point of view.

I wouldn't put it in my portfolio of landscapes or sunsets though.

Probably. That looks like low light and longish shutter speeds and yet those flapping bird wings are perfectly frozen in motion. Also, the bodies of the two top birds are much fatter and rounder than that of the bottom bird.

I seem to be one of the odd ones out in that this photo does absolutely nothing for me.

Lots of artifacts around the bodies of the birds...my guess is they were added afterwards.

I thought that too but then I saw the same artifacts around the trees at the bottom.

The only thing that makes me think it's a fake is that the two birds on top look like geese, but the one on bottom looks like a hawk.

And it doesn't do much for me either.

OMG.... It's a smiley face!

The eyes with eyelashes and the mouth even has that double bump for the lower lip.

Freaky!

Yes, it's a fake. It's been making the email rounds lately, and it's been posted here before.

Still makes one smile though.

My first thought when I recieved it in an email was it's a fake BUT ... Why not? I think if you shoot enough shots (6.5 fps) of three birds flying over it's possible.

When I recieved it the title was "Gods way of saying .. Have a nice day!"

I vote for a fake, but it's funny anyway.
