Dave,

You show some very good timing on these shots, and the ability to capture solid peak action, however every one of the shots looks to be under-exposed. I've posted a histogram of the brightest of your images below, and it shows at least one stop of under-exposure.

Your EXIF data:

ISO: 1600
Aperture: 2.8
Shutter: 1/640

This is surprisingly dark for a college gym. especially since you probably should have been at ISO 1600 f/2.8 and 1/320 or ISO 3200 f/2.8 and 1/640. I find this puzzling.

I normally shoot @ iso 1600 1/500@2.8 I believe I hit the dial accident once.
Thanks for noticing.
I meter for these settings perhaps I should have accounted for the different angle of these shots.

I love the changeup with this angle and FL. Agree with Dennis in the exposure. Any chance of using 3200??

Very cool shots. The reflective floor in the paint adds a great touch. Shows my need for a very wide angle lens now....
