As a mom, I love pics like this of my kids, as a photog I would say to take this shot but then also get her to straighten her head and ease off on the smile a bit in a second shot. That way you get the mommy shot and the photog shot and have two great pics to remember that day by Canon 30D

The black outfit is overpowering the color of the Christmas tree.
