GBH not to my previous standard

Hey all
Well I have tried to get some interesting shots, but the background has been horrific.
I do however like the First shot due to the back lit illumination which has brought out a little translucence to the Herons beak.

That third shot is cool. Nice streeeeeeech.

I think they're very nice shots Allen with #1 and #2 as my favorites.

Thanks Gary, for some reason my second shot isn't showing, where there is a bead of water dropping off the tip of the Heron's beak, Anyone else seeing it ok.
Ok I just tried to follow the link on the second image and it isn't loading so it is an Image shack problem.
I'm going to upload that image to image shack again and see.

I see what you mean about the translucent bill in the first shot, very cool. I also like that awesome stretch!

Thank you Daniel for looking and commenting, When I was taking my exposure reading for these I had a feeling it was going to be a little bit tough due to the Back lit situation.
The Distance of the Heron away from me was pretty significant, I was wishing I was able to get closer or have a lens with f/2.8 to blur the background more, but oh well I'll take what I can get.
When I did stumble upon this guy it was fighting with a cat fish, but it lost it in the grass.
