CS3 File -> Print grayed out

I just printed some photos recently. Today, however, when I click File on the menu, the Print option is grayed out. It is not available. Control-P does not do anything either.

When I go to Printers in Windows XP, the printer is showing as available.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Try converting to RGB color, or 8 bit color. It'll probably be something weird like that.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that, but it did not fix it.

Very strange, but I think I solved it. The default printer for this computer is a deskjet that is on a network. For some reason, it is unavailable to the computer. The photo printer, however, is connected directly to the computer. Because the default printer was not available, photshop seemed to think it could not print to the other printer. So I connected the deskjet directly to the computer and now I can print on the photo printer.
