I think it might be better compositionally by eliminating the stump in the foreground (slightly different angle maybe) and zooming in a little more to enlarge the swans. Just my opinion--still a very nice shot as it is... Dec 15, 2007 16:12 | #9 I suppose it would be considered a tone-mapped image then. This was created using Photomatix and converting a RAW file to an HDR image and tone-mapping it. It's a false high dynamic range, but very similar results can be achieved using a single RAW image like I did here. Usually there is just more noise in darker shadows.
