I hear many people talk about selling their gear and buying new ones. My question is how and where do people sell their camera stuff.

I'm guessing that this is more of a local thing. IE it varies from person to person. Personally though i dont think i'd ever even bother. I know with sporting equipment for example they just try and rip ya off. I had a pair of $300 rollar blades and took them into Play-it-Again-Sports they offered me $50.

For some reason i just have a feeling that Ritz/Wolf would try the same type of thing. I guess though that there is only one way to find out, but ya gotta realize that they need to make a profit off of it which means any offer they make you will be lower then their price which should be on par with the prices you'd find online.

I think i saw it but i'll go check the thread.

You would definately get the most dollars seeling directly to your customer.. if you sold through a Camera shop, or pawn shop you'd get penny's on the dollar and the shop gts the cash.
