I have an Epson perfection 3200 scanner. I cannot for the life of me find the slide/negative/medium format part that goes on the underside of the lid. I contacted Epson in hopes they can help me. But if not does anyone know of any sites that sell refurbished/used equipment or parts sourcing sites? I have literally hundreds of slides and thousands of slides I want to scan and save to an external hard drive. They are all my fathers pics that he took from around the late 1960's to mid 80's. From family portraits, snapshots to awesome shots of landscape and archetecture. But i do have one worry that if I do get the part I need it will be pointless. Im not sure if the lid has a seperate light source to shine light down thru the slides or if its acts as a reflector to have the light come up from teh bottom.
Can anyone help me out?
