I reconfigured my bag again today and realized that I would like a 4 compartment insert that runs the length of the bag just like the 3 compartment insert. I know I this can be achieved with a 3 and a 1 insert but at a greater cost.

Jon- I'm finding that using the provided 4 compartment insert with a big 211 single next to it for holding the lens hoods and a 3&1 compartment insert along the sides gives me the ability to have two bodies with grips and attached 70-200 f/2.8 IS and 100-400 upright, a dedicated hood compartment, and the ability to carry 6 more lenses each in their own insert. Of course you could get more glass in if you wanted to stack but 8 lenses and 2 pro bodies, batteries, flash and other stuff is already plenty heavy.

Nikon D3, D300, 10.5 Fisheye, 35 f/1.4, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.4, Zeiss 100 f/2, 105 f/2.5, 200 f/4 Micro, 200 f/2, 300 f/2.8, 14-24, 24-70, 70-200, SB-800x4, SB-900, SU-800, (3) Sunpak 120J (2) Profoto Acute 2400s,Chimera softboxes, (4)PW Multimax, (6) C-stands, (3) Bogen Superbooms, Autopoles
