Time to choose....although it grieves me to choose just three. All are great shots, and I thank you for posting them. From your shots, my thought is that most of you are like me, in that our pets are not just animals or reptiles or other species that we have, but family members. :)

With that, I have to choose Flywing's wheel barrow full of pups. It is hard enough to shoot black animals with clarity, much less a whole litter. Wally, if I were you I would send that to a Lab magazine for a nice sale. It is picture or postcard perfect IMO! And for second place, it is steve535's water dog. He/she just hit me as a grand old dog still enjoying a cool off. Third place goes to Monty's kitty. The expression in the cat's eyes is just as if you are seeing it in the flesh.

Congrats to all winners. And I truly wish I did not have to choose. Soooo many great shots deserving, and this has been very hard for me. I love all of your shots. Thank you again.

Wally, you are up!

I just showed your shot to my wife and she thought it was outstanding as she did all the others but the way that one pup is standing on the others head had her laughing...

Flywings photo was simply the best choice.

Multiple subjects and all in their own worlds, so to speak.

Congrats Flywing and all.
