Hi,
I've just got a 580 EX II for my 400d and im a little confused by how it works.(either im going mad or something is wrong)

When I first got the flash Im sure i was using the camera in Manual and the flash was working in E-ttl but now when i go into Manual on the camera the display on the flash just goes to TTL.

If I select any of the creative modes it goes to TTL but any of the point and shoot modes display E_TTL.

Its my first flash and Im totally lost please help if you can.

Deano

Fixed, my random clicking whilst learning what different button did caused the problem. I had turned ETTL of on the flash itself.
