Do any of you accept credit cards?

If so, what's the best setup for accepting credit cards?

I accepted them through my bank without monthly fees, usually its $5. a month, but after a while I received notices saying that there would be compliance fees next year from the CC companies. this would be on top of the montly fee, which they were still waiving for me. Since 99% of my sales were web based, I stopped accepting it since I use Exposure Manager and they handle it.
But you can get the machine on line for about $160 and then your CC processor will program it.

I accept them through Paypal (which is linked into my online ordering software). They're cheaper than most CC processors, and I don't need to accept them in a retail environment, so it works for me.

I only accept AMEX, (way fewer fees for vendors)
I do it through them, something like 5$ a month + a small % of each transaction (which I would obviously work into my prices)

I accept them for online sales though PSIGate. They have an integration package where it's all seamless and the client never leaves you site like Paypal.. .looks really pro, all done on SSL too which is nice.

If you use PayPals virtual terminal the client need never leave your site

I use PayPal Virtual Terminal and love it so far.

I also accept paypal and they can use any credit card through them. I don't accept AMEX because in most disputes they will side with the customer. Not that I expect disputes but i don't have time to deal with them ni the first place.

I'd accept credit cards though paypal if they want to cover the fee. Otherwise it is cash or certified check only.

Only through paypal other than that cash or chq's only..

I wouldn't trust paypal.
