Posted this in the Lenses forum, but thought the macro shooters might have more experience with extensions tubes and could probably help too
. So I already have the Kenko Extension Tube DG Set (12mm, 20mm, 36mm) but am a little unhappy with how they feel when they go on a lens. They seem to grab a lot more and almost grind against the lens and against the body when they are being put on. So I am thinking of selling these and getting 2 Canon EF25 and one EF12 instead but I have two questions first:
- Does anyone else who has the Kenko set experience the same thing with the "grippyness"?
- Can anyone with the Canon EF12 or EF25 Mark I or II verify that the Canons go on as smoothly as any other Canon lens?
