POTN Book Volume 2 Image Selection Vote - Macro

Congratulations to the photographers that made it this far. You are one step closer to having your image printed in the Second P.O.T.N Photo Book!

In this Poll you will find the finalists for the Macro Share. There will be 21 images published in this Section of the Book from 64 that made it through to this stage. Please review ALL the images before voting. I would like to suggest that you make a list of the ones that you like best before voting. Once you have chosen your favorites narrow those down to 5 images. Then place your votes.

Voters must be members that joined on or prior to 1 November 2007. Please vote for ONLY 5 images. If you vote for more than 5 images, ALL your votes will be disqualified. We set this number to be fair to all participating members.

Do not encourage other members to vote for your photo(s) in any way. Doing so will disqualify your photo(s).

Now that was hard, 5 votes is way too few in this section. Great shots

For next year, could I suggest an more user-friendly poll results screen, where the image numbers have a link to the images. I have lost count of the times I wanted to see which image was making progress and had to go back to the total image listing to see which one it was.

Firstly doing what you ask within the bounds of the vB sw is HOURS work per poll... so.. sorry.. but no.

Secondly, what impact does the 'progress' of an image have on how you vote? You don't need to access the Poll thread to decide, just jot down your votes on a piece of paper (they do exist still apparently as you review the Galleries. Then fill in the poll when you've finished.

Minor thing but GaryT seems to have managed to vote twice on some images.

Thanks. We think this is a glitch in the Poll software.. it will be picked up by Scott's script so only one vote will count.

wow those are all soo amazing, makes it extremly hard to chose just 5

agreed....this was *very* difficult to pick 5. toughest sub-forum i've voted in yet.

WOW what great captures so glad I'm not eligable to vote to many great photos to choose from.

You sure didn't make it easy to pick 5!!!
