 Hi Canon Folks!
I'm struggling to puzzle my way through a Do-It-Your-Self project I've started. I have a budding interest in Stereo Photography (3D Stuff) and I decided to make my own 'Loreo 3D Lens in a Cap's' to use on my EOS 20D. The Loreo's image samples seemed to leave a lot to be desired in the sharpness and clarity departments.
Anyway, I have a small budget (very small), but I acquired two pricey small format lenses quite cheaply and a family member can provide some quality machinist work. My struggle at this point is taking the image circle from the lenses back to the camera's imaging sensor in a sharp manner and at an appropriate size.
I have a conceptual process and design sketch 'I like!' :-) along with some preliminary experiments that validate parts of my design. I keep finding 'little surprises' which invalidate certain assumptions and presumptions about optics I started this process with.
I would really really like to find someone who knows their way around lenses mirrors & prisms and who would also enjoy helping with an interesting little project.
Even if someone has another web forum for me to go asking on - that would help an absolute TON!
Thanks all for reading this!
