I've posted a few similar shots back in May, and then some tower climb shots just recently. Both seemed to have plenty of interest so I figured I'd post some more. I was on site as H&S escort for a videographer and another photographer (who was using Nikon and film!) so I of course had my camera with me.

Here are a couple of the arty ones I did. I'm really happy with the b/w conversion.

And a few of the construction. The crane was great to watch. $4.5 Million gets you a lot of lifting capabilities. That crane costs more than one of the towers.

And one last one. I was trying to emphasize the sense of scale here, instead I think I just overdid it with the polarizer. Some people like it though.

Very, very nice. Gotta say, though, I like the May ones the best. Everyone else following this thread should definitely check out the link to the May shots. Cool stuff.

Blimey its worth then the war of the worlds.lol they don`t half take over the landscapes but still at least they ain`t building houses on them that destroy the landscapes.

could you tell me if that is a manitowac crane?.....they are built 40 miles away from me :P
