Fun with flash B+W Portrait

Well I was bored the other night and decided to have some fun. Don't have the equipment for off camera flash yet but can't let that stop me. I threw a box over the flash to create a makeshift snoot for it then just experimented with the effect. Would have loved to use a Gobo style effect, but want to wait till I have off-camera ability to get more directional hard light shadows. PP was levels, USM, and B+W conversion. Well just thought I'd post.

I think you did a good job for what you were working with... very creative. You are on the right track and will find it much easier once you get the gear to do it the right way (although even with the gear I still tape stuff to the ends on my flashes at times :) )
