Why are you putting your EXIF on the photo itself when you could change the privacy policy of your flickr account to allow us to look at the EXIF for ourselves? Seems to me if you're ok with publishing those things you'd be ok with having the actual EXIF info open for all.

If this was for me I link from Picasa not from Flicker now. I put the EXIF on the main items only. My Picasa account should be open. If not I will check to see if it is

If this was for me it was a temporary glitch, images before had exif and once I found out about the problem images after do.

How's does this lens compare to the canon 70-200 f4 non-is in terms of AF speed and accuracy, is it sharp wide open? How do u find the weight with no OS? I am looking at this lens used? How is the sharpness, contrast, CA?

When the sun sets, the Sigma lens is a useful tool when on the sidelines of a football game, regardless of the brand of football.

The best way to get an idea of how the lens performs is to scroll through some of the images posted on here. When I purchased mine used it needed sending to Sigma for repair, however, now it has been optically corrected and calibrated it's lovely and sharp, even wide open. The Sigma 70-200 f2.8 at 2.8 is definitely sharper than the Canon f4 non-IS at 2.8 ;)

I'm not sure how much impact IS/OS has on the weight to be honest. The main difference between the Canon (which is much lighter) and the Sigma is f4 vs f2.8... that is what increases the weight of the Sigma significantly! I believe the Sigma 2.8 is a similar weight to the Canon 2.8s.

These available-light night football images from a Canon 60D and one of the non-stabilized Sigma lenses got some help from Imagenomic Noiseware noise reduction.

A 70-200mm lens is short by U.S. gridiron football standards. When fast-approaching action fills your viewfinder, it's time to put the camera down and make sure you're not going to be hit by flying players. At least one play in this contest ended with players on the ground behind this sideline location.

With the start of basketball season, the Sigma lens returns to its element.
